A mutual love for live music and entertainment brings renowned photographer Michael Weintrob and Brill Creative together to design and deliver Weintrob’s new website.
Since 1998, Weintrob has been professionally photographing artist portraits and live music performances. His work has appeared in many notable publications like Rolling Stone, Spin, Mojo, Billboard, Relix, Downbeat and Jazz Times among them. In his career he has documented thousands of musicians in performance, behind-the-scenes and portrait settings, and his photos have been widely used in advertising campaigns and editorial spreads, as well as highly imaginative installations.
Weintrob’s long-term passion project, INSTRUMENTHEAD, has been presented as an exhibition at music and cultural festivals, in art galleries and contemporary art centers around the world, and it has since been published as a fine art book by Magnet Bound Press.
“I had known of Michael’s work long before we were put in touch with one another to collaborate on his website project,” said Dan Bril, owner of Brill Creative. “The Instrumenthead work is a brilliant concept that allows fans to see another side of their favorite artists. I also see the level of trust artists have in him, which speaks volumes about his professionalism, talent and artistic spirit. Mickey Hart, for example, doesn’t just sit down with anyone—that is a special connection.”

Brill and his team designed, developed and deployed Weinstrob’s new mobile optimized e-commerce website with data acquisition and martech automation methods, including customer segmentation and email distribution, that will not only serve to empower the Weintrob brand but also deliver delight to the site’s many users through messaging and products only those users would enjoy receiving.
“The Weintrob team can now easily layer in merchandise, subscription-based image licensing, and so much more, with the platform we put in place,” adds Brill. “They now have the capacity to scale the business.”
