An Agency Alternative – Marketing I Design for Print I Web I Mobile

Welcome to

See What You Think

Seamless Partners

We work WITH your team, it’s a collaborative effort. And while many clients have in-house designers or other agency partners, it’s our efficiency, quick turnaround and close client relationships that make Brill a valued go-to resource for all of them.

Top-Tier Talent

When needed, Brill draws from the same top tier talent as the larger agencies. This allows us to take on a brand’s toughest marketing challenges, big or small, with experience and quality that rivals any agency.

Untethered

Unconfined by walls, geography or industry. Brill uses the latest technology to efficiently work with local, national and global clientele.

How it’s done

Brill Creative is comprised of a core group of professionals. They’re the nucleus. They evaluate each project or relationship and determine exactly what’s needed to make that effort seamless and successful. Then they reach out to – let’s call them ‘electrons’ to complete the analogy – who continuously orbit Brill Creative, waiting to be paired with the right opportunities. Think of directors and their stables of actors. When Tarantino needs a rat, he calls Steve Buscemi. When only a dude will do the job, Jeff Bridges is on the horn with the Coen brothers. Right talent, right project.

A client recently told us…

you guys are like a direct extension of my own internal team

Why you’ll like us

We refer to Brill Creative as a 'small but mighty firm' (sorry, 'boutique' just isn't our style). We have no desire to be a 'Big Agency'. Because when we look around we see big agencies slashing their creative staffs to cut costs and increase THEIR profits, yet they still frustrate clients with bloated, in-house bureaucracy and sluggish turnaround. (and who wants to deal with that?) So, at Brill Creative we decided to do things differently. By combining forward-thinking creative with consistent responsiveness and execution, we solve problems and grow business for our clients. And we even have fun while doing it. Now that sounds more like it, doesn't it?

“for the greater good” … so what does this really mean?

FtGG2_BCTagline

Our thoughts on it…

‘for the greater good’ is our new tagline. It’s something I had been thinking about for quite a while. The thought has long been in motion through our many philanthropic partnerships with various non-profits and organizations that are trying to better the world around them and improve lives. I wanted to take it a step further by making it clear that this is something we stand for as an agency and that it’s part of our thought process when deciding who we want to partner with as we move forward. Whether it’s helping a large corporation like 5/3rd Bank design T-shirts for their Stand Up To Cancer campaign or helping a non-profit in Cambodia increase its awareness so it can help restore the lives of young girls rescued from sex trafficking. What we love most is helping those who help others. If that’s you, please get in touch. Lets see what we can accomplish together. To the right are just a couple of examples of what ‘for the greater good’ means to us:

Macy’s: UI/UX

  • Interactive: Creative Direction / Design

In 2012, Macy’s, one of the country’s largest retailers, approached Ascendum Solutions, LLC with a project.  Ascendum is a global information technology (IT) solutions company.  They deliver “Technology Inspired Solutions to Business Driven Problems.”

Macy’s presented Ascendum with the task of developing a creative and interactive technology solution that could accept, manage, categorize, prioritize and analyze the ideas submitted by employees. The concept was dubbed ‘The Idea Bank’. They wanted a place where Macy’s employees could submit their thoughts and share their ideas about how to improve areas of business for the company. The concept was tested and was a huge success. Not only did the program succeed in developing great new solutions that improved business processes, saved money or enhanced consumer experiences, but it gave employees a greater sense of value and ownership. It allowed them to be heard. They could watch their ideas move through the channels and then actually see them implemented. What a way to boost an employee’s pride in their company!

The technology and back-end programming was impressive, but the outer appearance (interface) needed a helping hand.  Ascendum reached out to the team at Brill Creative to gain a fresh perspective on what this new and exciting website tool for Macy’s could look like. After some initial consultations and creative briefings, Brill got to work on a series of ideas for the home page, inner pages and ways the data could be displayed and shared in a visually engaging way.

A design concept was chosen and developed alongside Ascendum’s team leader of Marketing and Creative Services, Eric Weissmann.  Eric states

“Dan is great to work with and provided a fresh approach to what could have been a stale creative execution. Highly recommend.”
Eric Weissmann - Marketing and Sales Executive @Ascendum Solutions

The collaboration was smooth and brought out the best in an end product that was LOVED by the client. We’re proud to have been part of such an innovative idea and thank our partner, Ascendum, and Macy’s for bringing us in on the project. We look forward to future collaborations.

Thanks for looking.

Hardees, Carl’s Jr

U.S Bank: Hot Air Balloon

  • U.S Bank: Creative Direction / Concepts / Design

Creativity took flight when BC was asked to develop concepts for a new hot air balloon design for U.S Bank. It’s not every day we get to tackle a project like this, but we rose to the challenge and presented a winner! It was great to get this image of the actual balloon being filled and prepped for its first flight. It looks great and we’re proud to have been a part of it.
(Just wish we would have been offered a ride in it! ;)
